Business-to-Business E-Business Strategy and

Cooperative Research Project with Frank Duserick, Interim
Dean, Professor of Management Information System, College of Business, Alfred
University, NY, USA, March, 2000-2004.
The
cooperation will focus on the following activities:
1.
Study of business-to-business electronic commerce strategies and models.
2.
Electronic commerce practical frameworks to support supply chain
management and business-to-business procurement in China and in the United
States.
3.
Intermediary model and business-to-business electronic commerce system.
4.
Development of an Electronic Commerce model for planning electronic
commerce strategies.
5.
Application of Electronic Commerce model to a Business to Business
Electronic Commerce environment in China and in USA for empirical analysis.
6.
Presentation of seminars in electronic commerce at both universities.
7.
Exchange of published articles, books, technology and know-how.
8.
Publishing articles in journals and books that are developed and edited
together.
9.
Joint efforts to secure funding and financial support from foundations,
international organizations and federal agencies.
Cooperative research
efforts will be beneficial to explore different management
issues that arise from the application to business of rapidly evolving web
technologies in our countries.
